Isn't he banned atm anyway?Seriously why do they not reconsider Ishant for limited overs?
Is it only for tests or in general? Thought it was just for the next test match.Isn't he banned atm anyway?
Maybe they're keeping both Ish-Mesh fresh for Tests, and also breeding a different stock of bowlers for limited-overs cricket- but that, in turn, raises a question about the blokes they're picking for limited-overs. There can't be an excuse now for picking this bunch. Then again, there's nothing Ishant can do on a flat deck against a top team, unless the top team he's facing is Sri Lanka.Seriously why do they not reconsider Ishant for limited overs? He's much improved bowler as a whole, also where is Umesh? India are being too fancy with this experimentation and "we need to give everyone a chance" bs, just get ur best players and play.
Nah the keeping fresh for tests doesn't work for me, I'm not saying they have to play every limited over series but when you consider that the world T20 is coming up early next year its not much of an ask to get your best bowlers playing the T20's. They can rest them from 2-3 ODI's in between so they are not playing a full series but to simply make them test exclusive is unnecessary.Maybe they're keeping both Ish-Mesh fresh for Tests, and also breeding a different stock of bowlers for limited-overs cricket- but that, in turn, raises a question about the blokes they're picking for limited-overs. quite agree with Arjun on Ishant generally being ****e in limited overs cricket.Seriously why do they not reconsider Ishant for limited overs? Playing T20's won't ruin anything, Ishant has improved as a bowler in general. All other India pacers play limited overs other than Ishant and they don't seem to get any worse.quite agree with Arjun on Ishant generally being ****e in limited overs cricket.
And finally when Ishant F Sharma is getting his **** together by bowling decent lines in test cricket, why do you want him to start playing T20 and ruin his bowling in all formats?
They don't get any worse but they don't get any better either. Ishant is actually getting better than his usual **** self.Playing T20's won't ruin anything, Ishant has improved as a bowler in general. All other India pacers play limited overs other than Ishant and they don't seem to get any worse.
wtf... bowlers get better all the time while playing various formats. Anyway we can agree to disagree as I think Ishant is still better than most duds India will bring in limited overs. They don't get any worse but they don't get any better either. Ishant is actually getting better than his usual **** self.
Let him play test cricket where he is actually doing something useful for the team for a change. Maybe the lack of T20 has actually done him a world of good as evidenced by his performance during the last year and a half
Really? That's not true for all bowlers.wtf... bowlers get better all the time while playing various formats. Anyway we can agree to disagree as I think Ishant is still better than most duds India will bring in limited overs.
How do you know that'll happen?quite agree with Arjun on Ishant generally being ****e in limited overs cricket.
