Bresnan is a shadow of the bowler he was 12-18 months go. Time for a spell out of the national side imo.
Its rather strange. He just does not seem to be charging in like he used to. Maybe he is out of rhythm and so doesn't feel comfortable charging in.

Whatever record that Kohli got for snoring 13 centuries in shortest time is under threat from Amla already.

Is Amla the fastest to get to 10 centuries?

Oddly enough, I'm not that disappointed in this score, since Smith got out, no other Saffie has really got going with the Beard. It's not good, but just about gettable, reckon we're about 2-1 against.

I don't think I could get tired of watching Amla. So good. Cementing his place as my favourite batsmen around at the moment.

Patel seems like he was the right option, didn't see any of him though so a slightly blind comment.

I've no real problem with batsmen not walking, but ABdV pointing to his shoulder in a positive pretence of innocence was not good. A pity that he's prone to these sort of lapses because he's otherwise a player I really like.

Tsotsobe has got a real good head on his shoulders. A shame that, that kind of variety (everything bar movement) is not as important in the longer formats.

England are going to chase this. South Africa's attack for this match just oozes pies and the pitch is a belter unless you can turn the ball. I do worry about some of England's middle order but Bell/Trott/Morgan have got this covered IMO.
