haha i'm too slow to have thought up that. gotta love KP and his talk. He also seems to have reviewed his own book on amazon....

I BOUGHT THIS BOOK THROUGH AMAZON AND APART FROM SOME VERY GOOD SPORTING HIGHLIGHTS(A LOT OF THEM I REMEMBER) THERE WAS A LOT OF DARK DAYS FOR PETERSON IN THE EARLY STAGES OF HIS CAREER AND I MUST SAY WHAT A TRULY BRAVE DECISION HE MADE COMING TO ENGLAND TO SHAPE HIS CAREER.BEFORE READING KEVINS BOOK I DID NOT KNOW WHAT HE HAD TO CONTEND WITH IN HIS EARLY YEARS BUT THE BOOK DOES GIVE YOU AN INSIGHT INTO THE MAN KEVIN PETERSON APART FROM THE SPORTING HERO THAT MOST OF US KNOW AND THE MAJORITY I AM SURE APPRECIATE. THE TITLE OF THE BOOK IS VERY APT BECAUSE KEVIN HAD A LOT OF BOUNDARIES TO CROSS AND I DO NOT MEAN WHEN HE WALKED ON TO A CRICKET FIELD.I STARTED READING THIS BOOK ON A FLIGHT TO TENARIFE AND READ FOR MOST OF THE JOURNEY AND THEN FINISHED THE BOOK OFF IN THE FIRST DAYS OF MY HOLIDAY. THE BOOK GRIPPED ME FROM THE START AND HELD MY INTERTEST THROUGHOUT . A TRULY GREAT READ.

Haha, that's an outstanding review.

A slightly nervy start by the SA openers (Smith in particular), but they're looking a bit more fluent now.

So England takes the bowling powerplay.

The bowling powerplay is something of a misnomer itbt. It doesn't benefit the bowling side at all, with fielding restrictions that can only benefit the batsman. It makes very little sense.

With the bowling powerplay, the fielding side should be able to put MORE fielders outside the circle, not fewer.

Oh god, Knight is trying to bring back one of the most annoying phrases from the 2005-2010 period - "scores in unusual areas". That got so annoyingly over-used when describing a good OD batsman for a while.

From the little I've seen, Bresnan looking even more pedestrian than the Test series.
Yeah he's never been as good with the white ball as the red but he really looks quite average here; might be time for him to actually have a bit of spell out of the squad. I do rate him quite highly as a cricketer but he's so far below capacity at the moment that I'm not sure what just playing him into worse and worse form confidence is meant to achieve.
