Has the shots, just not a great manufacturer of singles.

Mind you when he nails one like that...

Sotters does look properly gash when it's not quite there for him, doesn't he?

Ugh. Ravi still plays. How bad does his form have to get? Unless he registers a minus score it isn't possible.

No Amla for SA either. Presume it must be a rest.
Would probably do England a favour if he does get a duck.

And same old ****ing ****e from England. Ah I'll just grab that plate and put the wicket down on it for you.

Was listening to some of The 12th Man by Billy Birmingham and was wondering if members reckon that a UK version would work. Or do the commentators not have their traits well known enough for good comedy?
Been done way back in the day. Obviously Benaud features heavily. Some of the other voices might not be familiar to the younger generation, but anyone of my age and older will recognise them.

Probably works better if one's familar with the Paul Hardcastle original version too.
Blowers, Bumble, Holding and maybe Willis and Tufnell probably have the most distinctive voices I'd say.

37-1 in the 6th, not a bad start. I assume Kieswetter's keeping wicket again, although it would be a good idea for Bairstow to take the gloves at some stage, assuming he's been inked in as Prior's understudy for India. And what are the odds of Buttler getting a knock today?

Not convinced by Kieswetter. Takes a lot of risks to barely score above 100.
He has to take the risks as he can't score singles so the dot balls mount up then he has to play a big risky shot just to get back to a run a ball average. With Bairstow in the side as well and a better long term option I don't see the need for Bedwetter in any England side.

Feel sorry for Davies, obviously not worth picking him at present as he is struggling after Maynard's death but he is a better keeper and bat than Bedwetter yet he has hardly had a chance.

Ooo. Outside the line there, surely? No reviews? Bugger.

Fecking Botha.

EDIT: Nah, good call from Dick. My eyes are shot, obvz.

Slip catches at this stage of a T20 must be quite rare I'd have thought, but if anyone was going to succumb ...

Why bring back Steyn? Surely 5 more overs of Bopara and South Africa would only be chasing 120 tops.
