Would probably do England a favour if he does get a duck.Ugh. Ravi still plays. How bad does his form have to get? Unless he registers a minus score it isn't possible.
No Amla for SA either. Presume it must be a rest.
Bats so much like Matt Prior it's scary - immense through the off-side.Key Sweater ****ing nails that cover drive doesn't he? Flogged a few during the ODI series.
Was listening to some of The 12th Man by Billy Birmingham and was wondering if members reckon that a UK version would work. Or do the commentators not have their traits well known enough for good comedy?
Blowers, Bumble, Holding and maybe Willis and Tufnell probably have the most distinctive voices I'd say.Been done way back in the day. Obviously Benaud features heavily. Some of the other voices might not be familiar to the younger generation, but anyone of my age and older will recognise them.
Probably works better if one's familar with the Paul Hardcastle original version too.
He has to take the risks as he can't score singles so the dot balls mount up then he has to play a big risky shot just to get back to a run a ball average. With Bairstow in the side as well and a better long term option I don't see the need for Bedwetter in any England side. Not convinced by Kieswetter. Takes a lot of risks to barely score above 100.
Yeah, didn't take Nostradamos, did it?Ravi's going to poke one behind here, surely? Looks like a man who's lost his off-stump.
