Odds on the person he had a very very long talk with been either Swann or Broad.

CWB to celebrate the ability to drop Bell again.

Swann, almost certainly, there's definitely been an emnity there, auto-bio and KPs comments on the drink-driving.

Yeh defs Ravi.

I mean I'm happy about this resolution and everything but it doesn't feel all that permanent. There's still going to be a big shroud of uncertainty around KP whenever he plays for us. The whole situation has been a big bummer.

I don't see how KP can have done any more than that interview though. Time to forgive, I think.

Absolutely. Its just because of what's happened in the last week (well beyond that obviously, but mainly this last week), this is pretty much the best resolution we could have got from it. The whole team dynamic with him in it makes me feel a bit uneasy. I mean we have no idea what the rest of the team really feel about it. Just have to hope they're as professional as their words imply.

Well there's no reason for them to feel bad now, he's said he doesn't want to play the IPL, and wants the same deal as everyone else.

Still got this text message thing hanging over him mind.

This is epic, who needs cable when there is KP?

Good on him to be honest.. I've just booked a flight back to England, the stubborn-ness has got to me and I want to give back to the fans in the last few rounds of the West Somerset League..

Very disappointing end to what promised to be a controversy of Pakistani proportions. Would have preferred the unnamed teammate and Pietersen going at each other with bats to solve all problems.

Not quite finished yet. All ends tomorrow when KP not in the squad for the third test.

A volte face worthy of a Tory chancellor.

TBF tho, for a proud man it must take some balls to front up and say "I've been a bit of a **** about this" (my paraphrase) so pubicly.
