well, the run rate will be picking up now with AB at the crease, but still, terrible descision by umpires. im sure there will be complaints about that.

Onions and Swann should come in for Bresnan and Finn.

Finn just isn't there yet - he doesn't deserve to be ahead of Onions. Bresnan has been absolute ****e for whatever reason.

Don’t think so. Smith was given out in the NZ series that despite there being no evidence he hit the ball and he just lumped it then.

AB is not ****ing around.

As the comms said, odd that Smith didn't refer it straight away, instead of just standing there looking puzzled.

Bresnan badly needs two or three wickets here, and this spell might be his last chance. Something like 2 for 270 in the series for him.

Almost a three-for there for KP, should have been. Karma, of a sort.

smith maybe was worried he was a chance of lbw, knowing he didn't hit it, wanted amla's opinion of that first

Can't believe anyone is still thinking that run-rate might be an issue
I think that particular horse bolted about half an our ago.

Granted I've only seen snippets on cricinfo today, but the decision not to play a spinner isn't looking any better today, is it. If Swann wasn't fit, then Panesar should have been called up.

Beyond that, the state of our fast bowling stocks isn't looking any better either. Interesting decisions to be taken for Lord's and beyond. Tend to agree with Scaly about bringing in Onions and Swann for Bres & Finn, but in other times the performances of our opening bowlers in this series would have raised questions over their participation at Lord's as well.
