One of Broad's best assets IMO
Yep, spot on. Nothing used to annoy me more than people saying Broad needed to "decide what sort of bowler he wanted to be"; the fact that he could adapt to different conditions so well as a kid is what made him stand out as a prospect even when he was largely ****.

They used to say that about McGrath when he was a youngster too.

That's the first time I've seen a (Test) scorecard in which every single player in a side had a bowl. ABdV even got two wickets, wtf.

Hahahaha and Boucher got one! Rob, upload pronto
We asked him following the accident. I don't think it's happening. #FML

I'm sorry but Broad must get his pace back up. I know he's dropped it back to work on accuracy and movement but he just doesn't look anywhere near as threatening as when he was bowling mid-130s. And this is not just based on this innings, ftr.

This is very disappointing from the English bowlers. I know the batting conditions are very good, but where's the fight? They just look like they're going through the motions.
Bowl some bouncers FFS. Be aggressive. Take back the initiative.

Piss weak.
England cant and should not do anything else. They have no chance of winning but a very good chance of a draw.

I think its SA that are disapointing though they are doing whats quite normal in these circumstances. I justdont understand this kind of cricket. Especially not with players now used to T20-cricket. They are running out of time yet they crawl along with EIGHTEEN wickets in hand.

Its almost similar to cardiff 09 where Australia threw away a certain win ( and with it the whole ashes series) because they played so slow for so long letting England escape with a draw with dozens of unused australian wickets.
