I guess. I think South Africa had it in the bag either way, though. And it wasn't exactly a flawless innings.I would have said McKenzie getting a 50 and being not out was crucial, no?

What changes should they make then? Is there any point in dropping Hayden, especially if he's told them that he's going to retire after Sydney? Should they drop any of the three bowlers they'll be keeping for Sydney? Hayden and Symonds are the only selections that are up for debate really, and with Watson injured the obvious replacement for the latter is gone.I think the players should be selecting the selectors at this point. Does anyone have the contact details of the selectors and/or their families? So pissed off at them they are definitely the worst in the world. What does it take for them to lose their jobs.
I wasn't made a prefect in 7th form because of my behaviour in 3rd and 4th form.Does Graeme Smith still get sledged for his bad performances in Australia last time they toured?
Nah no way. McDonald is definitely a better Test prospect than ODI.Damn, losing Watto his huge, LOL dont tell me son got injured because of lack of game time.
Following this fellow McDonald in FC cricket over the years (given i have not seen him) he has never come across to me as potential test match player at all. Much more ODI style though.
I won't bother second guessing these selectors though. But i don't see the point in picking McDonald as the "all-rounder" for Sydney with the series gone. Just keep it simple, any revamping of the team balance be done for the SA tour no now..
God help these selectors..
Like Warne never been made captain.I wasn't made a prefect in 7th form because of my behaviour in 3rd and 4th form.
You made that post only 9 days ago!Does Graeme Smith still get sledged for his bad performances in Australia last time they toured?
Apparently from what i have seen of MacDonald his batting and bowling (though his medium pace isn't any better than Symonds') are much better suited to the longer form of the game as compared to the shorter form of the game.Damn, losing Watto his huge, LOL dont tell me son got injured because of lack of game time.

9 days is helluva lot of time to grow up, mate. (Ok, bring it on, tadpoles become frogs in 9 days for example)You made that post only 9 days ago!
So how's life as a frog?9 days is helluva lot of time to grow up, mate. (Ok, bring it on, tadpoles become frogs in 9 days for example)
What are you talking about mate, Hauritz was as good as any of the three Aussie seamers, and as much as people don't rate Hauritz he has done quite decently in all the three tests he has played in, i think the real problem is that three seamers currently aren't doing the job consistently enough, and selectors should be working out who their best 3 quicks are rather than stuffing one more seamer in there.GTFOH maynnnnnnn, Watto out for 6 months http://content-wi.cricinfo.com/ausvrsa2008_09/content/current/story/384691.html
I hope to god the selectors realize that with Watson out, that NO SPINNER MUST PLAY AND PICKING 4 SEAMERS I A MUST.
