Just got back from the Pub, had a few beers and a feed in the sun, watching Punter get a ton. Whole Pub stood to applause, as did half the street of walkers by. Played so sublimely from 40 onwards.

Went eerily quiet after he got out though...

Slats was just saying he's about Lee's height and build, but think Brett's taller and thicker-set myself.

Mmm, that's why I asked. When Slats said that I immediately thought that Brett Lee is much taller. Steyn was fielding regularly on the boundary on the East Grassbank on the 3rd day at the WACA, and looking at him he seemed comparatively short.

In that case, Brad Hodge or DJ Hussey ar more unluckier than Watto! If Symmo was added for his batting then Hodge and Hussey deserved that spot...

A question about squad composition: if you have unused talent in reserves who usually play as openers, like Jaques/Marsh/etc., what is to stop them from using them in Symonds position? Is it because, at that position (#7), you usually play an all-rounder? That, and opening is a specialist position and requires very different skills?
