It does make one wonder how a player with such a obviously iffy looking action has been allowed to play in SA domestic FC cricket for 2 years without him being reported before! Do other countries not monitor their own comps?!?

Actually they were over-attacking with the bat, and that is far and away the main reason they lost it.

Of course that doesn't suit your case that you think has been proven, so you won't accept that and will instead respond with a juvenile insult I expect.

If they'd batted sensibly on Day 3 and Day 5 of the First Test, they'd have won that.

1-0 up rather than 1-0 down is a huge difference (especially since they were so much on top of that game)

Notice that you can't actually mention any of these other excuses (is that because it doesn't suit your argument here?)

Anyway, dominating show there by Australia. Bracken bowled superbly and should have had a triple wicket maiden there.

Bracken so deserved that triple wicket maiden. Tony Greig called it when the ball was in the air and Marto stuffed it up lol. Lucky he batted brilliantly for his 96.

A mate rang me after the first over was bowled by Pollock (a brilliant over at that) and said he'd give me 1.5 odds on Australia, with a $10 bet. I took it, and when Marto and Symo started belting the ball everywhere, well I couldn't help but smile

The mics on the captains was very funny too. Especially following Smith's dropped catch. That was hilarious. Slats sledging him and blaming it on Heals was brilliant. Speaking of which, its so great seeing Slats commentatoe on channel 9. Hopefully he'll be there for the VB Series too, and becomes a full time commentator for them.

there is no doubt in my mind that 20/20 cricket has a place in this world. It should never be taken so seriously that there are world cups of it or things like that but it is an amazing promotional tool that cricket has at its disposal. It also seems to me to be more like sports entertainment, similar to the old 'Gladiators' show.....very entertaining.
