A really invaluable innings there from Hussey, he really hasn't done much wrong since coming to the international level. Stellar support from McGrath as well, another 50 cut short :p

Amazing knock by Hussey. He is just batting brilliantly as of late, and today's knock was as good as you get. SA must be kicking themselves. Dropped Ponting and Hussey (Sitters too) and they both go on to score centuries. They've only got themselves to blame.

Lovely bowling by Brett Lee just now to dismiss Graeme Smith. LBW again as well. In the past 12 months I don't know how many times I've seen Smith out LBW, but its a hell of a lot.

More like a bid to save Ponting some face after he barely bowled the "Australian allrounder" in Perth.

That and its bloody hot here in Melbourne and he doesn't want to kill his bowlers.

Thats why you had no hesitating jumping on Sala-whatevers bandwagon about an apparent weakness in Pontings 2nd innings capabilities, rather than mention his absolutely brilliant innings at Old Trafford. But no u couldn't help yourself

That is one weird half-century by AB. I think its 5 or 6 boundaries behind the wicket for him, really frustrating Lee. When he brought up his 50 his look on the face showed he knew it too.
