Ideally you'd want a quality seamer who's decent-ish with the bat, haven't seen enough Oz domestic stuff to know if there's anyone like that out there tho.
Bichel would be perfect, except he's too old now and the selectors don't really seem to like him.

Oh boy, the South Africans are gonna be furious when they see the replay of Langeveldt's "no-ball" that Rudolph caught Ponting off.

Looks like Lee did really well today. Obviously this test isn't likely to go the distance, but it's been a really good contest up to this point. Still anybody's game.

Langeveldt and Rudolph were robbed. They'll be shattered when they see that at lunch.

What happened? Langeveldt called for a no ball that turned out to be a legal delivery?

Yes, he bowled a legal delivery, Ponting went for the pull and Rudolph took an absolute stunner of a catch. One handed in mid-air. Umpire called no-ball and the replay showed it was not one.

I can never get enough of Lawry's "GOT HIM!"

Langer gone, chopping on. Pollock gets the wicket and here come the middle order.

LMAO @ the new Langer Johnnie Walker ad (the one with different music, no whistling) playing immediately after he is out.

How much do we think Australia need? Obviously anything around 250 or so ought to be pretty tough, although the bats have certainly looked comfortable at times during this match. This might turn out to be a thriller.

This will be a much better test of Hodge and Hussey's abilities than the largely toothless WI attack. I'll also be interested in how Symonds goes, because although I don't think he's a great long-term test prospect, he does seem to cope fairly well when a match is in a pressure situation.

With the weak South African middle order, I reckon a lead of 250 is more than enough. I could be proven wrong though.
