Australia have been kissed on the dick again with these great bowling conditions while we couldn't have had worse bowling conditions yesterday.

Even when they lose the toss and wanted to bat first too the conditions still favour them, they are basically bowling under lights here bowling first.
I mean I think the main reason both sides wanted to bat first was that it was South Africa. I think sides would've bowled first against anyone else.

It just shows how much luck can play a part in these knockout semi finals with the weather and the venue.

We got the rough end of the stick yesterday and South Africa have got the rough end of the stick today.

It sucks that both teams that haven't won a World Cup have got screwed over while the teams that have won multiple World Cups have get the luck.
Hold on. Bavuma could have bowled!

South Africa did win the toss at least.

I don't know, people use the c word about 2007 despite that being a belting and South Africa clearly not being the favourites in that game. Definitely can see people using the toss as a cause that SA choked.
Sounds like both sides would have batted so it was just a good toss to lose. Luck I'd call it not a choke.

I'm one of the fastest to dig them about choking but I'd not call this one.

The ball is still doing heaps even after 10 overs, if South Africa can get past 200 here they will be doing well.

Hold on. Bavuma could have bowled!
That's true but neither captain thought the ball would be doing this much bowling first, Cummins said he would have chosen to bat first too.

The bowling conditions haven't been this good bowling first for any game in this tournament so choosing to bat first was the logical call.

It doesn't look like SA can score 250 from here, will be lucky to get even 200.. Aus will chase this easily
Ind vs SA final most likely.. I would have liked SA to be finalist but not going to happen..

In 1996 WC semi here , SL were 10-3 and Desilva counter attacked and destroyed rhythm of India’s bowling attack .
Not these conditions, overhead & what not, nor this level of bowling or 2 new balls. But yes you need to be brave in sports or life to win the big prize.

Just to be clear, has CW decided already that the game is over?
No but it'd be one of the greatest performances ever for SA to turn this round the way it is going. Be a bigger achievement than the SWA staying in the league this season anyway.

SA can still push for 300 if they don't lose any more wickets now. I don't think the pitch has as many demons as people are making out, Australia have just been bowling well.

If there was a time to stand up and make yourself a legend it would be this scenario. Aus have been fantastic but good teams find a way to compete.
