***Official***Semi-Final #1- India vs New Zealand - November 15th - Wankhede, Mumbai (D/N)

Every star has just shown up in sublime form for India this tournament. Don't think this XI could play any better than they are now, which is pretty much unbeatable.
The batting is very similar to Aus in 2007. Sky is the equivalent of Hussey, the barely used Number 6.

Not even close to being out.

Of course you'll be laughed at. But that's a fair point why were none of the games in 2019 day/nighters and they've nearly all been here.
Most of the best ODI game are day games, the best ODI in this tournament between Australia and NZ was a day game.

This is actually the first time a team has gotten through the first 10 under lights at the wankhede without being annihilated. Interested to see how things'll go against spin. Mitchell's not going to hold back.

Mitchell definitely has the ability milk Jadeja in the V, and muscle over the top when possible. Don't know why he needs to sweep.

The ball is still moving around all over the place and this afternoon the ball was doing nothing.

It's a joke that a semi final is basically decided at the toss.

I can handle us losing if we got a fair contest but this isn't a fair contest, it seems like only Nasser has the balls to call this out,
Whose fault is that? Nobody's

In fact you can blame ICC....for making teams use 2 new balls.

It was fine with just 1 ball but they couldn't tolerate India winning the WC in 2011 and changed all the rules in Oct 2011. They had to make the game more pacer friendly which hurt subcontinental sides. Since that change, there's never been more than 1 Asian side in the semis.

Who has benefited the most from the changes in ODI cricket more than a decade ago? New Zealand ofcourse, who made two finals in WCs.

So suck it up now, now that the shoe is on the other foot and the same 2 ball advantage is helping India and not a Sena side.

Yeah maxwell and mamadullah both absolutely smashed it once they got past that first burst despite the loss of a ton of wickets. NZ also have the batting depth to go after this with chapman at 7 and santner at 8. Could be very interesting if they keep this up.

Let's see how targetting Siraj goes. Maybe they'll do us a favor and knock him out of the side. Worst fielder and batter and Ashwin would probably be an upgrade.
