He is certainly the best aussies got. Starc and Hazzlewood are the shadow of former self and Cummins is still not upto his 100%Lyon getting injured might've been the worst thing for England. He'd almost certainly have been bowling during the brain fart and doubt he'd have caused many problems (well he'd have gotten Pope but we know that).
He did in that Trent Bridge match. Just absolutely smashed all of them.Bairstow wasn't hooking the ball with 3 men out on the boundary waiting for the miscue ball after ball. He played himself in and by and large played proper cricket shots.
Stokes was seen hobbling so it can't be long before he decides he's better off using the long handleBlimey, whisper it but it feels like proper test cricket ATM.
Yeah I’ve kinda always thought that about the pull/hook for one.The Duckett stuff was definitely the worst because he wasn't even getting boundaries. Was just ridiculously high risk singles.
Today was a home made chicken egg foo yung, fried rice, chips and curry sauceWhat did you have for your tea?
Nah Duckett only started looking bad in the 80s, he'd already scored many more than Zak did, we have no idea how Crawley would have dealt with Wagner-ball.Safe to say Crawley looked the best English batter today.
A much better dinnerToday was a home made chicken egg foo yung, fried rice, chips and curry sauce
failed to clear the plate so the dog got the chicken left and the birds are currently finishing rice and chips
mr Mrs is a magic cook
Lyon injury is a bit concerning. It will affect the test match and if not fit the outcome of the seriesThis is another good test match. This time yesterday I felt Australia may still be batting but they were skittled early enough
now England have been very charitable to Australia but this game is well and truly on and the injury to Lyon, if it’s a bad one , could be a huge moment in the series
50 partnership up by Brook and stokes
Fair enough! I’ll take your word for it.I totally get it, don't get me wrong because I'm a big fan of Jimmy and acknowledge what a great career he's had.
But that doesn't change the fact Sir Richard John Hadlee was in a different league all together.
Yep and if I was Oz, I wouldn't allow a sub fielder, reckon he'll be in the slips.Stokes looking like he needs a runner but unfortunately the rules are changed
getting through the overs these days just keeps getting more ridiculous. Yesterday you had those distractions and rain. Today you got Lyon gone a lot of the day and England hitting to all parts of the boundaryAus and Eng will again lose points for the overrate
