Agree with others in saying this is a bit of a mistake. England's main issue in Brisbane was the batting, and both of these selections over Ballance and Bresnan weaken that further. But none of us wanted Mitch Johnson picked for Brisbane so who the **** knows.

Burst onto the scene as a batsmen. Had like ~ 6 hundreds before he was 20 and destroyed some very good attacks. The broke his finger badly and has been indifferent with the bat since. Bowling is vastly improved from medium pace stuff to decent pace with decent skills in English conditions but can be erratic. Will bowl England's quickest delivery in the match probably.
