Maybe it's to do with how England play him but anytime I watch Watson bowl in the Ashes I'm always amazed he manages to take wickets against anyone.Possibly. In the Ashes though, I don't think one can afford to not bowl him. He's a pretty good bowler.
How many spinners bowl no balls really?And the batsman never gets the chance to have a free hit? I know there isn't time to change your shot on a no ball call against the quicks, but you certainly can against the spinners.
It would be a major rule change.
