I'm a fan of telling Haddin to ditch the pads 'cause this might be his last chance to send down an over in test match cricket

i guess they could bowl siddle and patto to try to keep Root from getting to the 200 for as long as possible

Id give Agar the ball if they are not taking the new ball. Him going for another 20-30 runs isnt going to change anything but, more than anyone, he would benefit from a couple of throw away wickets in garbage time.
