It’s delicious that Anderson, the most experienced player on the park by miles, was so characteristically self-centred that he cajoled his younger bowlers into making the past hour all about revenge for him and in doing so has significantly reduced his team’s chances of winning.
I think it all happened in the heat of the moment, surely Bumrah was going to get a few short ones. But I don't think Anderson would be petty enough to plan all that stuff.

this is now India's largest 9th wicket partnership since Shami and Pandya added 62 vs SL in Galle in 2017, a game where India scored 600 a/o in the 1st innings. Also the last time Shami crossed 30 i think.
