It’s delicious that Anderson, the most experienced player on the park by miles, was so characteristically self-centred that he cajoled his younger bowlers into making the past hour all about revenge for him and in doing so has significantly reduced his team’s chances of winning.

I think it all happened in the heat of the moment, surely Bumrah was going to get a few short ones. But I don't think Anderson would be petty enough to plan all that stuff.

The man is close to 40 years old, he must have been scared for his life when Bumrah was bowling those nasty bouncers. Bumrah was able to get him out with sharp yorkers in previous occasions, those bouncers were not necessary.
