My innings consumed most of the day!?! :o

Was meant to be a reference to your innings AND the partnership with Lezama - the most significant of the Colts innings. Somewhere along the line, writing at 3am or so, I missed that bit out.

Have to say Arnold very hard done by with regards to MOTM...

Dropped every 30odd runs on average and Richard Dickinson was the MotM judge.

Can't complain too much at that kind of start to the season on a personal note. Team-wise, not losing was my objective after the previous few seasons beginnings.

Not a bad start to the season for Green. The batting was quite solid in both innings without having anyone going on and making a big score. The bowling wasn't great except for McNamara who looks in good form this season.

Chuffed with my first innings effort, but mightily disappointed with the second. Really should've chipped in with more.

3rd actually. 1st Blackman v Blue, 2ndYou v Bangladesh and 3rd Arnold v Masters.

Think I've watched all three from the dressing room.

An excellent team performance there to put away Red. The only dissappointment was perhaps the top order batting in both innings but I'm sure that can be rectified.
Butler showed his class while Kerr is making number 6 his own with another classy innings.
Weber chipping in with valueable runs too was pleasing, as was my own 'efforts' to stay with him despite a zillion dropped catches.

The bowling was great - a real team effort - shared evenly.

However the stand out for mine was Nick Hancock. If truth be told, his position in the side wasn't confirmed until the 11th hour and for him to give it his all with an excellent batting performance and chipping in with handy wickets shows why he's a hard worker and a general great bloke. Just a shame he fell a run short

Definatly think thats a bit harsh mate, Rob Dauth, myself, Luffy, Thomo, Dwyer have all made lots of runs either last season or the one before. And ofcourse Hak has made ****eloads too.. but doesnt mean we all fail if he fails.

Hrm, shame the 4 specialist seamers couldn't take the wickets. I feel largely responsible for that draw.

Excellent innings by Pete in the first. Insane really, happy with S.Young, Crampton and Sean in the second dig, too. Posing interesting selection decisions for t he next FC fixture.

So should've finished them off.

Can't see how you were responsible, you picked heaps of bowlers who just couldn't get the wickets in time.

An extra batsmen wasn't needed, especially when your opener scores a superb 200.
