Happy to make a good score for the first time in the warmups, and to see the team home. We've gotten better with each game, so hopefully that will continue when the season begins.

While we could have done a lot better, I'm still rather happy with the performance given the understrength bowling attack taking on one of the best batting attacks in the league. The batting was a story of highs and lows as some players batted brilliantly while others failed to strike fast enough - myself included - meaning the score stayed reasonably low.

Time for the games that count now! Really looking forward to it all.

Good win for us against CW black. We bowled pretty poorly, and it was pretty luck that Thompson batted so slowly - taking up almost half of the innings' deliveries for only 94 runs.

Our batting seems to be firing, with good consistent scores all around. Particularly good innings by Fuller, with Young and DeSilva providing us with excellent momentum.

Loving those bowling stats. Glad I could keep the runs down, even if the Black batsmen are just trying to find some form. Great work by our batsmen, Cribb unlucky. De Silva is a gun.

Unless I'm mistaken, you said you were "pleased"? What's there to be pleased about? Am I missing something?

I didn't say 'pleased' I just said 'happy' - I wouldn't be pleased with anything but a win, but I'm just saying that given the circumstances, I'm not unhappy with how some of our players got into things. I respect the reasons for the loss and am confident that our first side won't suffer in the same way. After all, these are just warmups.

Little disappointing to lose in that manner - but there are plenty of encouraging signs to be taken from the warmups and now on into the bulk of Season X
