Simmed it just before you posted that. I would re-sim it, but it took me ages to sort out Sean's bowling orders and apply them in the game (I had to restart about 5 times) and I'm not too keen on doing so again. It was a thrilling encounter though.

I'm hoping you made me bat up the order

Crampton XI vs Bennett XI
at the PDV Dome

It was a high octane display that blessed the PDV Dome on day two of the Charity series, with big runs thrilling a huge crowd. While the Bennett XI fell away to lose by 54 runs, it was still an entertaining encounter and few were disappointed by night's end.

Pooja Bharat lit up the stadium with 152 unbeaten, facing just 145 balls and striking 17 fours and 2 flat sixes over long-on. The Colts batswoman batted with Nitin Dravid (78) to add 194 for the 5th wicket and the two resurrected the Crampton XI score from 49-4 to a more impressive 243-5 at the fall of the latter. Dubb-Lynch then played an enterprising cameo innings of 26 from 17 balls, contributing solidly to a massive score of 330-9.

Staring at the huge total, the Bennett XI received a decent start from their captain - Sean Bennett (49) - and the surprising David Kennett, who hit 3 sixes in his top score of 66. But from 87-0 in the 19th over, the Bennett XI slipped away. And though Gaurav Nayak played a classy 65 and George Roberts threatened with a run-a-ball 27, the task was too great, even for Jasotharan and Malone, unbeaten at the end.

Crampton XI 330-9 (50 overs)
P Bharat 152*, N Dravid 78; RJ Malone 3-55

Bennett XI 276-7 (50 overs)
DM Kennett 66, GN Nayak 65, SA Bennett 49; DA Kearsley 3-48

Crampton XI won by 54 runs.

Dauth XI vs Weber XI
at the CWBCC Stadium

Josh Forner was a rare shine light for the Dauth XI, who were overwhelmed by their opposition for the second consecutive game. Forner grabbed 3 wickets in his 10 over spell, but could not mask the dominance with which the Weber XI cruised to their target of 216. Sean Fuller oozed class in scoring 98, and captain Tarick Weber emerged from an uncertain start to register 71 in an opening stand of 184.

Forner snared Fuller with a beautiful awayswinger, then pegged back Dunn and Loganathan in quick time, but Blake Donald and Nick Borcich saw their team home.

Donald had an enterprising day with the ball earlier. Peddling his medium-fast bowling, he took 4 wickets, including those of Dauth and Wilson. Halsey was the star though, and he bowled 10 overs and took 5 wickets. The Dauth XI, having recovered from 32-4, could only manage 215 all out. Liam Camps battled for 87 not out, finding the boundary only 3 times in his innings.

Dauth XI 215 all out (46 overs)
LA Camps 87*, DJ Watt 35; TC Halsey 5-45, BC Donald 4-42

Weber XI 216-4 (42.1 overs)
SE Fuller 98, TV Weber 71; JNE Forner 3-38

Weber XI won by 6 wickets.
Man of the Match:
TC Halsey

You got lots of time in the middle, but I played the same batting lineup as last time. Still, everyone batted.
Not everyone.

My bowling got absolutely murdered. What a laugh that must have been!

Cameron XI vs Gray XI
at the Fardin Qayyumi CC

Mature and sensible batting from the usually agressive Xavier Rose essayed a solid 4-wicket win for the Cameron XI over their Gray counterparts. Rose notched 78 not out opening the batting, and anchored a chase of 174 for victory. Sharp bowling, particularly from Nick Hancock, had his team wobbling at 127-6, but Rose kept his nerve and batted to the target alongside the impressive Das.

Earlier, Das was a surprising success with the ball. He opened the bowling with offbreaks and was rewarded with the wicket of Chris Butler, before returning to dismiss teammate Rai and uncapped Bochat. Das finished with 3 wickets, while Clapham took his second 4-for of the series, swinging the ball both ways at his medium pace.

Only two batsmen emerged from the teens - Gary Nayak and Nick Hancock - and a score of 173 all out was unlikely to be testing. But the bowling continued to be disciplined and purposeful, and the Gray XI admirably carried the game to the 46th over before accepting defeat.

Gray XI 173 all out (42.4 overs)
G Nayak 41, NR Hancock 39; KR Clapham 4-35, AS Das 3-46

Cameron XI 176-6 (45.5 overs)
XPA Rose 78*, AS Das 28*; NR Hancock 2-33

Cameron XI won by 4 wickets.
Man of the Match:
AS Das
