If people are so active, why do they need reminding to post in a thread?Loony BoB said:Also, I'll get Dan (Majin) to sign in if needed, but I think anyone who has been posting actively in the Club Cricket thread should be fine to stay in, really.
Cos it's not that easy to spot?marc71178 said:If people are so active, why do they need reminding to post in a thread?
Same here.Loony BoB said:Since new threads are so rarely made in this forum, I tend to rely on the User CP for threads I post in, especially during the off season. That's why I'm always slow to pick up on new threads but once I spot them, I'm active in them.
I dont consider that to be "active" though. That's just keeping tabs on thread you've already posted in.Loony BoB said:Does my explanation need to be accompanied by screenshots? I just explained how. And I think I did it in a pretty understandable manner, too. I know some people need visual aids when reading, though, so just say the word and I'll break out the images with a more in-depth look as to how someone can be active in this forum without seeing a new thread. I'll try to use small words and I'll say it slowly.
No it isnt. Being active involves reading all the new threads as well. If your current thread reading tactics dont allow you to do this, change them.EDIT: And keeping tabs on threads you've already posted in is pretty much being active (well, assuming you actually post in said threads), given that new threads in these forums are few and far between - often a month or two will go by without a new thread being started.
You still found it though, which means any others that use your subscription system should be able to find it as well.I always find the threads pretty late, though
