Surely it's time for SECs batting to stand-up.

Capitals out. Going to need some clear thinking come the mega auction. Not sure there are many I would retain. Probably jacks,eathan & Kyle.

I wonder how seriously PC and these teams will take investment in the younger players they have had in the set-up and in PCs case Steve Stolk and Keagan Lion-Cachet? Even I guess their late bowing replacements like Peters and Boast.

Surely it's time for SECs batting to stand-up.

Wrong choices of batsmen - especially overseas. Choice of openers don't set a strong foundation or get the team off to a strong start. The weak batting is effecting the whole team and even the bowling now. You would have thought that the best bowling side would be taking wickets but they are down to taking one or two wickets. I would be shocked if SEC win at home today.

Last year they had Malan and Hermann so Abell played much better coming in when a score was set
Hermann 15 and Malan 20 with Abell 8 Stubbs 9 and Markram 14 in the batting rankings
Bowling was 1 Baartman, 2 Worrall, 5 Jansen, 10 Dawson, Harmer 24. Gleeson 30 for DSG

Been vaguely following this and was planning on watching tomorrow but apparently Pretoria are out? Even though they can catch Joburg with a bonus point win? Can't they?

If not I'll watch the football instead!

Missed the SEC v PR game. After seeing DSG beat JSK I saw highlights of the SEC game. Won toss and decided to bat. At over 18 121/6 didn't sound good but Stubbs was great. Ended up with 148/8. Then opened the bowling with Overton didn't sound like a good idea but amazingly he got 3 wickets and took 2 catches. Mitchell Owen only go 7. Can't believe SEC won with a bowling point

First tie breaker is games won. Jsk is on 4 wins. So PC can tie them on points but can't qualify because most wins they can end on is 3.
