Used to think van Buuren was rubbish until the last two games.
At least DSG got their batting order right.

I always ponder about the type of career Immi could have had if someone other than Graeme Smith captained him at Test level…probably would never keep an end tight but Faf would have used him better imho.

Totally agree. Think Kesh was lucky he started his test career under Faf. One of the few SA captains really back his spinner.

Crawley, go home. Was nervous after the powerplay when Markram didn't use Dawson. At least he got Conway from his one over. It seemed Markram and Harmer were bowling because of the left-handers but Dawson can also bowl at them. JSK's bowling was very good. Glad Stubbs is getting some runs.

Would it be fair to say this is a far more apin friendly SA20 than the previous 2 ones? Bat hasn't dominated ball at all which you kinda expect in this format, but that hasn't necessarily been for the worse imo. Fewer chances to earn coin for the crowd tho. Lol.

a Bit but real issues has been the grounds were bat usually really dominates have badly affected by rain. Centurion is the highest scoring ground and one got rained off and the another was affected by outfield and pitch still being quite damp. The third there got 200 vs 200. Hopefully no rain for the last 3 plus semi there.

Stephan Fleming and Faf for some reason are getting the groundsman to prepare slower spinning pitches at wanderers during the SA20. Seen it through the first three seasons, wanderers plays different when the lions & proteas play there compared to jsk. Basically trying to create mini chennai in joburg and load their side with spinners. Its usually a very scoring pitch with true bounce.
