Ireland looking like a team trying to hard at the minute. Keep forcing extra passes that just aren't needed.

Possession stats in the second half must have been very heavily dominated by Ireland.

I don't think this really says anything about the England team we didn't know already - a lot of promise, but not good enough to overcome some ill discipline/interesting referring (delete as appropriate). Some nice moments with ball in hand and some great defence in the first half, just not the complete package yet.

For our visit to Twickenham, I worry that England will have one of those days where everything clicks and they'll smash us.

Yeah, they certainly weren't helped by the referee at the line out who seemed to spot infringements that no one else could. But Ireland were dominant in the second half. They made their changes first and the bench took advantage against a tiring English pack. That's on Borthwick who failed to match it and once again highlights his limitations.

Someone also needs to inject some rugby nous into Murley, twice he made utterly daft decisions that left the team in horrendous defensive positions. But it seems he has talent, took his try well and set up another.

Ireland/France to decide the title and that could go either way. I suspect England will have another narrow defeat against France next week which will leave Borthwick clinging to his job when Scotland come.

There was some terrible refereeing in Ireland’s favour at a key point of the game, but they were clearly the better side. England were constantly losing territory in the kicking game, and the way they want to play is never going to work while that’s happening.

The way we fell off tackles was the most alarming aspect, IMHO.

Jimmy Lowe shrugged Mitchell off like an overenthusiastic autograph hunter.

I have just seen how much a smackdown Le Bleus laid on Wales. Are they really in that bad of a shape.

You were making so many though, it was one goal line stand after another. When you’re under that kind of pressure Lowe and Aki are going to run someone over sooner or later.

Weather for Wales/Italy isn't going to lend itself to be a classic, but so far it's been pretty decent. Capuozozozozozo showing a great set of heels to get on the end of a Garbisi grubber for the first.

Well, make that 14 on the bounce for Wales then, and likely to be 17 before long. 2 Tests v Japan in July the best shot at it not reaching legal drinking age.

Yep fun couple of phases in amongst all of that. All square at the half probably fair.
England will be happy. Weathered a bit of a French storm to start and grew into the game. Can't give France any scrappy ball though and they've got a lot of power to come off the bench.
