Think Scotland got stiffed being penalised on that kick off, but Ireland looking a class above across the park.

Nasty looking headclash that for Russel and Graham, Graham looked out before he hit the ground.
Couple of decisions not gone their way, but generally being outclassed anyway.

Hard to see Ireland not winning the GS.

Micks've been a cut above, but just maybe lacking a touch of ruthlessness in the Sweaties' 22.

Not often a side will be disappointed to be 12 up at the turn-around but this is one such. Should be out of sight by now.

France are capable of beating Ireland, even in Dublin, but I would expect that the Irish would win that game. I get the impression France are a a year off being a really good team. All of the ability but not quite capable of putting it together. They should have probably been 3 tries up at half time on Saturday, although it was rather wet conditions.

Not sure if he's quit or been pushed, but Gatland leaves the Welsh role with immediate effect. No idea who takes over in the interim, or who would even want the job going forward? Welsh Rugby is in a horrific state and there is clearly no quick fix.

I think it's a pretty good gig. The squad is bad, but expectations are even lower. You come in, you introduce a vaguely functional passing game, you don't literally lose every game, and you look like a miracle worker.

I think that's easier said than done. It's hard to see them winning any of their remaining 6 Nations games. And would you stake your mortgage on them winning in Japan in June?

Remarkably, I believe Gatland still finishes with an overall win percentage north of 50% with Wales, despite how wretched this second stint has been.

I really don't understand why he went back. Everyone knew their best players had either retired or were about to, whilst behind the scenes there was a controversial mess going on.

I find it quite disturbing that the company I work for is one of the WRU's sponsors, they are currently a toxic organisation that you wouldn't really want to be associated with.

I was a little surprised they even wanted him given how badly he stunk up the joint at the Chiefs.

Pretty sure they got whitewashed in the NZ only Covid Super Rugby.

Preston might be one to watch in Super Rugby this year. Heck of a debut for the Crusaders tonight.

3/3 for the Aussie sides in opening round of Super Rugby, tight finishes in all!

Special mention for the force, down by 13 with 5 mins to play, Pietsch steps his way through with 3 to go and then Donaldson with a 60m show and go after 26 phases in the 83rd minute to win it.

Didn't get to watch all the matches, but the Tahs reserve prop who scored 2 tries (including the match winner in 79th) is a beast.

That's a remarkable upset victory for the Highlanders playing a large proportion of the match with 13 men.
Huge game from co-captain TIMOCI TAVATAVANAWAI...remember the name.

Yeah Tavatavanawai should be at 12 for the ABs.
Sean Withy and Fabian Holland should also debut this year.
