Sensational performance from the French. I’m seeing a lot of whinging from the Irish about the ref, but thought if anything he favoured them more. A home win over Scotland and the title will be rightly crossing the Channel. That last min try in Twickenham costing them the GS.

That thirty minute spell in the second half was as good as you can get in rugby

I dont think that's a cut and dried jump over a tackle tbf. Denies a potential grandstand finish but Scotland deserved winners tonight

Can't wait for the 'how the **** did we lose at Twickenham' derby next week.
Hard to see it not being a comfortable home win even without Dupont (still not sure how that wasn’t a card). England did play well against France but were abject for most of the Scotland game.

This ref wants to be star of the show
He's a bit of an odd one (and that's not just his own heritage Welsh/Irish/Belgian). The decision regarding the penalty try and yellow card was just weird, and why the TMO only showed him an angle which offered nothing was bizarre.

Didn't make much difference though. England got the job done without ever really impressing again. Good sides would've chucked another 20 on Italy during that final quarter, whereas England just went back into their set patterns.

I'm actually a bit concerned that an improving Welsh side could get a surprise win on Saturday, especially now England have a couple of injury issues too.

Just turned on the Brumbies game and thought to myself, these jerseys look like they were hand designed by a kid...turns out that may be partially correct as they are for a safeguarding group.

And Lolesio still can't kick goals from in front of the posts.

Have a feeling they were done 5 or 10 years ago as well, I know the NRL has definitely had a round of them, and have vague memories of the Reds, Tahs, Brumbies and Rebels doing something as well.

Italy's opening try well worth a replay.

Ireland will probably rumble home by 25+ still, but Italy not rolling over just yet (which, 13 minutes in, you'd kind of hope they'd still be in it)

If Italy found a way to keep 15 on the pitch they may have pinched a famous victory. Certainly not Ireland's polished performance of recent years, but full credit to Italy throwing everything at them. But, once again, brave losers.

Wales looking every bit back-to-back wooden spooners.

Jack Morgan might get himself a seat on the plane for the Lions, but even then he may only see the mid-week games. Blair Murray maybe a chance as well? But again probably for the mid-week.
