Inglis will be something special, i really really really want to put him in the centre's but given our complete lack of wingers hes almost forced to play there because hes more suited to the role than Bell...
In the situation Inglis is picked in the centres im not sure who would be a winger, i guess the options are Schifcofske, Mogg, Wesser, umm im struggling lol...

If Inglis is the custodian, and that would be great, I'd go for Schiffers on the wing.

Tall and safe.

Theres talk that Hunt wont play next week, that gives him just 1 week to convince selectors hes the man for the job of playing fullback, i wonder if this means we'll see Inglis in the 1, that would be awesome imo, not only would be continue to work with Smith like he does with Melbourne, but throw Locky and Thurston in there and we have a dynamic combination...
I pity nsw, they can pick Hodgson, Gower and Orford, we are gonna **** all over them this year...

That's a crap forward pack you picked there Simon. As a NSW man I'd be very happy if your back row was Parker, Johnson, and Harrison.

Woah woah woah woah wait wait wait, did Fitzy actually pick two current Roosters players for his QLD 17?!
i consider the fact they are queenslanders before roosters :p

im pretty sure now only one of Myles of Shillington will be picked for Game one with Carl Webb being on the bench too...

Harrison's lack of form is the only worrying thing, Civoniceva is the form prop of the competition, Smith is in good form, Price always steps up, Johnson was made for Origin and Parker deserves to be there, its as good as we can put on the field and given the strength of halves and outside backswe are in with a real show...

But your halves and backs wont do alot if they forwards dont go forward, and IMO they lack any real grunt...

civoniceva and price lack grunt? how much nrl do you actually watch? :p
this will be on the best forward packs we've had in years, thre wont be any mugs like Ross or Flannery, just big strong guys who deserve to be there...

Overall, they lack grunt... sixty cents is good, and price has been solid without being spectacular, but the rest are nothing special.. Compared to the likes of Mason, Bailey, O'Meley, and the like i can see them getting monstered..

;)

Shillington has been playing top footy, and I don't think would be out of place at Origin level. A good call.

Crocker Faces Nine Week Ban

What a bloody joke. Honestly, it was nowhere near as bad as Shane Webcke's last year, for which he (Webcke) got zero weeks. Crocker's hand was on the inside of the tackled player's knee - it was nowhere near the crotch. With Crocker's record, yes he should have got 3 or so weeks. Nine is high farce. As with his sin-binning on Saturday night, the NRL just look at who the player is and then shape the punishment around that, rather than looking at the offence itself.

And you could argue Morely only getting two weeks on his tackle on Ben Walker in Round One was soft given his record.

Nine weeks is tough - do they have something against Melbourne?

I know he has a clean record but George Gregan got one week for his spear tackle which looked a lot worse and he got a weekend off.

Different sports, different judiciaries.

I haven't seen either so I can't comment, but the union and league judiciary systems have a history of giving different suspensions for similar incidents.
