Crocker is a deadset goon....He'll jump in a fight for absolutely no reason some times. I learned to love it as a Roosters supporter though...Well when he was doing it on the field anyway...
Crocker, Lockyer & Webke (to be really honest about it) have been the only ones to even show a hint of passion of playing origin for Qld recently. The others treat it as if it is their right. I guess it has a lot to do with a lot of the Qld players getting an easy ride lately, previously they were duped in national selections etc. hasn't helped that the selectors and coaches have been weak in recent years.broncoman said:i think in previous years some qld players could be accused of not putting in, but when you see a guy like crocker play in Origin it shows there is still a lot of pride in the jersey...
He's a very good player though, was brilliant watching him and Inglis tear up Penrith a week back.sideshowtim said:Crocker is a deadset goon....He'll jump in a fight for absolutely no reason some times. Crocker might be a hot-head, but he is a passionate and hard working hot-head, I'd rather see him in a maroon jersey then some other soft player which have been selected recently.sideshowtim said:Crocker is a deadset goon....He'll jump in a fight for absolutely no reason some times. Damn straight. Despite what the NRL and mothers of this country say, when I go to an origin game, I want to see a biff, that's what Origin is all about for me.sideshowtim said:More passion in the Maroon jersey will eventually lead to more biffs on the field....Origin fights are always the best ones. Damn, now I'm all excited about this years series!
i admitt i was wrong then, but tbf he was playing a lot better then and didn't cry as much.Blaze said:Lol didn't Tharmi want Finch in the NSW side last year?
Finch playing well? i must have missed that too...chaminda_00 said:i admitt i was wrong then, but tbf he was playing a lot better then and didn't cry as much.
Not only do you not know how to spell it, but you don't even seem to know what it means.chaminda_00 said:The more biff in orgin the better, it gotten pretty soft the last couple years. But thats what happens when guys like Ross, Ryles and Bailey play. Anyone who thinks Tronc isn't better then Ross is kidding themselves. Orford v Gower, well thats a bit baised but, by the time orgin comes Orford would have got used to the Manly style or play and they would have got used to the way his plays. And i would be very surprised if he isn't playing better then Gower. When it comes down to he hasn't done anything special at Orgin level at halfback, really of Johns doesn't play it time to look somewhere else rather then him and Kimmorley.

no way, hes rubbish, i know we are short of forwards but this guy never puts in for any team he plays for, really hes just a big waste of space...howardj said:Knock it off
Just because Tallis punched him into oblivion a few years ago doesn't mean he's a skirt.
He measured up in Origin last year.
You have to pay on performance.
Bailey's as tough as nails. Not far off Webcke, who could win in a fight with a small car.burkey_1988 said:Just read Tharmi's post again, didn't see the Bailey comment. If you're calling him soft it's evident you have never watched him play.
lol yeh Bailey is all quality, will take over the mantle as number 1 prop next year when Webcke retires...howardj said:Bailey's as tough as nails. Not far off Webcke, who could win in a fight with a small car.
So, other than that, do you rate him?broncoman said:no way, hes rubbish, i know we are short of forwards but this guy never puts in for any team he plays for, really hes just a big waste of space...
The only problem he'd have, really, would be if it turned. I reckon a semi has a better turning circle than Shane.howardj said:Bailey's as tough as nails. Not far off Webcke, who could win in a fight with a small car.
Wiki is already the number 1 prop in the NRL...broncoman said:lol yeh Bailey is all quality, will take over the mantle as number 1 prop next year when Webcke retires...
