So, WWE Draft coming up again - time for the annual raping of SmackDown in favour of burying talent on RAW. My predictions:
To RAW:
M.V.P. - I really don't want to see this. Really. He'll get buried by HHH and HBK's vise grip on the main event, just like Kennedy has been. But he's doing nothing right now on SmackDown, you'd think if they had plans to keep him there he'd at least have an angle going on.
Batista - He's feuded with pretty much everyone on SmackDown already, makes sense to send him to RAW to freshen up the main event scene over there.
Elijah Burke - new midcard talent is always good to see, and Burke's been deserving of a chance for a year or so now. Jobbing on RAW is better than jobbing on ECW, anyway.
To SmackDown:
Chris Jericho - this one makes good sense. He'll flourish as a challenger and possibly even champion on SmackDown, and a feud with Edge is potential gold.
Umaga - it's been talked about for ages, and again, it just makes sense. Umaga's a very versatile performer, and moving shows will give him a renewed push after 6 months of main event jobbing.
CM Punk - would say he'd be going to RAW, but he's got a lot of backstage detractors, and jobs way too much for an MITB cash-in on RAW to be realistic. Needs to get away from ECW, though.
John Morrison & The Miz - given the impending end of the SmackDown/ECW "talent exchange", this needs to happen if they're going to keep their titles. Which they should do, they're great.
To ECW:
Carlito - needs a renewed push and more TV time. A move to ECW is the best logical step.
Hardcore Holly - splitting the tag champs up on RAW is the best logical way to get Cody Rhodes partnering Ted DiBiase Jr., as seems set to happen. Plus, Holly's useless anyway and I don't want to have to watch him on RAW.
Trevor Murdoch - will never be anything more than a jobber, really, and he needs to be separated from Cade. Cade's due for a singles push on RAW from the looks of things, so bye-bye Murdoch. 6 months until he leaves the company.
