I agree with the work comment.

It was quite some work getting him out of the ring and editing him out of tapes, DVDs, etc.

JR's "Eddie Guerrero" will forever haunt me.

Let's say that out of the three Is, Intelligence really isn't your strong point. :p
tbh, i'm still unsure....but anyway....

after trawling through youtube I found this and remember watching this episode of RAW when i was younger, in the day before i read the results on the internet and spoilers etc... I was really jumping out of my chair during this match, a great moment, even if it was ruined shortly after...

anyone else got any great moments like this?

Well that is not particularly notable, because it could be part of the plan. Although if it was edited out of tapes, then that definitely lends credence to your theory.

just got word that a lot of people within the WWE administrtaion arent happy with the return of Y2J, his Mic work, ring work and reaction from the crowd have been singled out as not being as good as expected, and tbh i'm not far from disagreeing with that, the entire return has struck me as a bit of an anti-climax if i'm being entirely honest, got to say Y2J is probably my fave superstar ever, but his return hasnt been at all what I hoped for, everytime he ends up on the Mic it strikes me that everything that comes out of his mouth either sounds very forced or very much like he's putting on a show or going over the top, which is damn shame, i think his in ring work is fine, dunno what everyones getting upset about there, but its the damn crowds that really get my rag, its true, he didnt get a loud pophuge pop, but then hardly anyone does these days.....its struck me recently that the crowd are so often completely pedestrian, making little or no noise, and never getting into the matches, you only have to look back as far as an episode of RAW about 3-4 years ago to see the difference, e.g. on this weeks RAW they showed a match from the vault between edge and orton, the crowd were into it, making lots of noise and you go the feeling that there was a genuine interest amongst them, nowadays that seems to have dissapeared...

another thing that is pissing me off is all the young fans complaining because they dont know who Chris Jericho is, aaargh, its understandable, but the E could have done something to explain who he was, tying in with the crowd reaction the used to be a murmur of excitement when Y2J grabbed his opponents legs and tried to put them in the walls, the other night on RAW when he tried this the crowd seemed to hardly notice.....aargh.....

bet the E are kinda mad at shelling out a reported $1m a year contract......stupidly its rumoured that as soon as the feud with orton is over he will be moved to Smackdown to Feud with the returning JBL, my god i hope thats not true....

I imagine from this point in if things dont improve the E will run a "I returned to RAW and you all booed me, now i turn on the fans" storyline and turn him heel, probably would be a good move actually.

Y2J has been good on the mike IMO, whenever he's a 'face' I really think he is given a lot less to work with on the mike. Half of the best work he's ever done has been working up the crowds by insulting them, is there anyone on the roster that could match him with the mike?

It's ming boggling that he's been put against Orton which I think was the main anti-climax.
And I like Orton.

I want to see Y2J doing more, spread further than he has been, taking the whole 'saving' thing a bit further. Would also have liked to see a little HBK vs. Y2J which IMO was one of the best feuds ever.

Still enjoy watching him more than anyone else though.

Also frustrated me that despite the fact JR remembered the new move 'code breaker' he forgot Jericho's 'lionsault'. He called it a springboard moonsault, really hope he remembers it next time.

Jericho's nickname is lion heart isn't it?

Probably I've seen him call Chris master's master lock the full nleson.

Nothing wrong with calling moves their legitimate names. Only when he calls the move wrong
Reckon a commentator with his experience should know every signature move a wrestler has and call em correctly.

I feel that besides JR all of the commentators would've called it correctly, past his best IMO. How much longer does he have?

Seen a few clips from the 15th Anniversary Show last night, looks great. Looking forward to seeing the full show. Hogan, Austin, Undertaker, Edge, Foley, Y2J, Flair, HHH, HBK, RVD (:-O :D...please let him be back long-term), Batista, Orton, DiBiase, Dusty Rhodes, Trish, Lita, Bischoff, Jeff Hardy, Kane - there's an argument to be made that that was the most star-studded episode of Raw ever. Just a shame the Rock was on what he called "a public holiday", or he'd have been able to make an appearance.
