Yeah, I'd rather see Finlay's midget be the champion than Batista again. Kane deserves another title run and it'd be awesome if he got it, but I doubt they'll give him one, especially seeing as he passed the idea up last time it was brought up. :{
Kane's headlining Judgement Day either way. The poster for the event features him surrounded by fire, which basically means it's gonna be Kane vs Mark Henry in an Inferno Match, seeing as Henry's return has been built up no end by now.

It's also fairly obviously going to be Cena vs Khali (which is gonna be announced on Raw tonight) for the WWE Title. Who'll hold the Heavyweight Title going into Judgement Day is anyone's guess.

(Rey Mysterio FTW. :cool:)

EDIT: I can't be the only person who wants to see Finlay's midget fight Boogeyman's midget. Would be gun.

Well we can scratch that idea, because Kennedy has torn his triceps and is going to be out for 5-7 months, hence his dropping the Money in the Bank to Edge. (and effectively proving that he wasn't going to cash it in at WM24, otherwise he would have just kept it.)

This is the worst news for WWE and for us fans, another top star out for the WWE and now we're pretty much locked in for another Batista title run. And now that Taker and Kennedy are both out, it looks like he's going to feud with Mark Henry. It couldn't get any more boring than that. :{

I hope to god they move someone to SD! to take the title off Batista.

Edge, I love you.
Gonna be one of the best heel champs for a while, I think, providing he's given someone good to feud with. Reckon the Batista feud (which is continuing with a Steel Cage Match at One Night Stand) will carry on for a little longer, perhaps ending at Vengeance, and then after that it'll be Edge v Rey Mysterio for a while. That'll be awesome.

Raw is looking worse than SD! at the moment, with Cena a complete lock to win this feud with Khali. Khali just can't wrestle, and he can't speak English, so making him champion would be ridiculous.

Michaels' injury hurts Raw badly, as they're now short of top-level guys. Cena feuding with Khali means Orton has no-one to feud with or even wrestle with (which isn't a bad thing, TBH), while Lashley continues to take up massive slots on Raw thanks to Vince's desire to have himself on screen as much as possible. There's a shortage of good face guys on both brands, and with RVD and Sabu leaving for TNA, there's gonna be one in ECW soon as well.

Incidentally, I was thinking during SD! the other night that Matt Hardy is in danger of burnout. To be wrestling as part of Raw's tag champions whilst also being given a singles push on SD! (probably going to be MVP's next feud) must be knackering.

I saw the splice between the limo Vince got in and the one that exploded when I was watching it. Still, on the plus side this means Vince will be off WWE TV for at least..oh, a fortnight. In person, at least. Which is better for everyone.

The real issue at hand is the Draft. I really hope the supplemental draft balances things out, because RAW got beefed up and SD! and ECW both got shafted. King Booker, Mr. Kennedy, Lashley, and Snitzky all to RAW. SD! got it worst of all. Lose Mr. Kennedy and King Booker and get Torrie Wilson and Khali in return? Utter ****e. Lucky for them that Ric Flair got drafted at the end, but their main event level is really dry at the moment.

ECW got Benoit, which will be good for them, but it's going to be interesting to see where it goes without Bobby Lashley there anymore, because ECW was basically "The Lashley Show". With the departure of Sabu and RVD, ECW is looking extremely bare on people right now.

So yeah. The rest of the draft on Sunday is going to be very interesting.

It's a bit daft really, but it'll inevitably come down to being a typical "whodunnit?" type storyline with McMahon coming back at some stage down the line revealing it was a work as part of a "holy crap Vince is back" Run-in/GM style decision thing.

What I find really funny is the amount of media outlets marketing it like Vince really died.

Preety obvious that it's fake.

For why else would WWE.com report that, "Mr. McMahon is presumed dead, the victim of an apparent limousine explosion".

I haven't watched wrestling in months now, and one fine day I open wwe.com and see stories about McMahon's "presumed" death. Well, I guess months will drag on to years now. :D

The McMahon "death" story is pretty amusing, TBH. It really brings it home how many idiots actually think it's all real - people were leaving flowers outside WWE headquarters and everything, and when they had a moment's silence on SmackDown! there were people crying in the crowd. :laugh:

In the ring, however, it's looking like the main event of Vengeance could be half-decent - although I'm praying that Edge doesn't lose to Batista before that. I have a sneaking suspicion that he will, however, due to SmackDown! being pretty much full of mid-card heels now, thanks to the Draft. He's got no-one to feud with, the only possibility is Rey Mysterio, unless they're going to push Matt Hardy or (even less likely) Kane.

It's also likely that the SD! Tag Team Titles match at Vengeance will attract an amusingly low level of attention from the crowd, assuming that it ends up being the Major Brothers vs Deuce & Domino as seems likely. No-one knows the Majors and no-one cares about the useless champs.
