Norwood's on Fire
When's the last time Taker was on Raw?
In what respect? He appeared last night, and two weeks ago but if you mean in brand extension terms I think he's been Smackdown since all bar the first draft?

In other news, Rock and Stone Cold both at Mania innit

JBL returned this week too. They are suddenly bringing back a lot of the old crew and are also bringing the swear words back.

I got the impression JBL was a one-off but I could be wrong

Yeah, whole lotta 'ass' being thrown about and I think I saw Austin give JBL the finger

It's awesome though I kinda associate it more with Shawn
Yeah, me too.

On an unrelated note, I bought the new Jericho book the other day and read about halfway through it. Mixed bag so far for me, will give a quick rundown of the reasons. Firstly, the book doesn't really flow in chronological order, with various incidents being recounted in a perculiar order, not a fundamental problem by any means but it can make for a bit of a disjointed read at times. Second of all there is a massive amount of Fozzy related content, I'm not really interested in most of what is said in these sections, but that's just me. The writing style used by Jericho is pretty compelling, the fact that I managed to read half the book in more or less two sittings shows how much of a page turner it is, but the fact that he seems to rely a lot on crude/immature jokes can get on my nerves from time to time. A lot of them are funny, and a reflection on his character I think, but it's irritating that a guy who has shown himself to be very eloquent often feels the need to put 2-3 of these gags in per page. Various snippy remarks made about the WWE censure of all Benoit matches get repetitive as well. However, it's been good. It's really interesting to hear about his time in the WWE, his relationship with Vince and HHH in particular. So far I would have to say I prefer A Lion's Tale, but the later sections of the book which deal with Benoit and Guerrero and so on should be VITSTL. Will post more thoughts upon completion.

WWE has posted the following on their website, confirming our earlier report that The Rock would be returning to RAW the night after WrestleMania 27:

Just 24 hours after WrestleMania XXVII Host Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson takes the reins of The Show of Shows, "the most electrifying man in entertainment" will be appearing on Monday Night Raw, live in Atlanta.
Sounds promising.

Gather he's meant to be on RAW at least once more before WM.

Finished the Jericho book today, and have to say I wasn't as impressed as I thought/hoped I would be. It was in no way a bad read, but having watched his DVD recently there wasn't a lot included here which I wasn't already familar with or aware of. One gets the feeling that the book was written hurriedly, and that certain topics were deliberately skirted over and that others were included as filler. In this regard I'm thinking particularly of how there is almost a total absence of any mention of the relationships between Jericho and HHH/HBK, with no great details being offered there, and a load of the Fozzy segments were distinctly uninteresting (but maybe that is just me). I got the impression that as Jericho is still likely to be involved with a lot of people in the wrestling industry he chose to cover his ass somewhat and not bag them too much....not unwise of him I suppose, but still, you get the feeling that you're only getting half the picture when reading it. The Benoit section was interesting, but didn't really say or reveal anything you'd be surprised about. Overall it was a good read, but if I wasn't such a huge fan of the guy I think I would have found it rather uninteresting. Not as good as A Lion's Tale by quite a stretch for mine. 6.5/10

Bet they won't fire him though, can see them desperately trying to cling to his (now much diminished) star power.
