awesome spot

what happened to kennedy?
Bobby Lashley is doing MMA and Kennedy is in TNA. It's pretty cool how mostly all the independent stars of the early 2000's are now in such promising roles in major wrestling companies.

AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, CM Punk, Matt Sydal, Nigel McGuiness and Bryan Danielson all have major roles in major wrestling companies and almost all of them are main event level performers. ROH really does provide the likes of WWE and TNA with some amazing talent.

Raw was so so soooooooooo good. SO good. Wasn't expecting much this week, just expected mish-mash tag matches ahead of the PPV. Instead Bryan kills The Miz and then gets Cole, and Evan Bourne finally gets his revenge on Sheamus and Edge.

Oh and Jono, Ahmed Johnson FTW!
Raw was great. I was expecting a longer match between Bryan and The Miz but it accomplished what it needed to. Evan Bourne getting pushed is something I have no problem with, he's got great talent and being associated with guys like John Cena and Edge will do great things for his career.

He's just turned face, I think he did it because he was getting over, not sure. Caught Impact last week. Wasn't sure whether to cringe or enjoy his segment with Jeff (not sure what SBI posted as I can't play videos on this comp...) but the whole "you're all assholes" thing made me chuckle

NXT was pretty good this week. Wade Barrett winning was no surprise as after Bryan he's been the best all round rookie on the show. Barrett's got a lot of potential and it'll be interesting to see which brand he ends up on. I hope it's Raw as it has Chris Jericho and William Regal and it's perfect for a person like Barrett.

The new rookies seem interesting but most of them have the most awful names. I understand WWE wanting to trademark their names but seriously I find it hard to believe they can't come up with better names. Joe Hennig the son of Mr Perfect is on the show as a rookie so he'll be one to watch but why they named him Michael McGillicuty I have no idea. What was wrong with Joe Hennig?

The pairing that has most of the internet fans talking about is Kaval as the rookie with Laycool as his pros. I find it funny how WWE gets the internet fans riled up so much. I think they are trying to repeat the Bryan and The Miz pairing again with this. Either way, having a pairing like this gets people talking and helps bring attention to guys like Kaval who are awesome in the ring but somehow tend to slip under the radar for most casual fans.

Either way, Kaval may very well be the Bryan Danielson of this season of NXT but having been a ROH and TNA X Division Champion before, he's very experienced and much like Bryan doesn't need NXT to end up being on one of the main rosters.

Guys, just randomly who was that guy with the French gimmick from say 5-6 years ago. Used to do an awesome dance/jig.

Came up randomly in conversation today and had a huge mental block with regards to his name.

They just don't grapple like they used to.
Used to love going Diesel and doing the jacknife

Unless of course this is the old version, and not Royal Rumble. And with Flair there, that may be the case.

Basically the same game though.

WCW vs. NWO Revenge was top draw.
Haha, that was a great game. Played that loads and loads before I really knew anything too much about wrestling. Remember I won the WCW World Title with La Parka and Psicosis loads of times.

Should have been made to happen in real life imo

Yeah at the time that was revolutionary.

Still, War Zone and Attitude on PS3 were good fun too.

Still my fav ever is Smackdown 2: Know Your Role :)

Best Smackdown was the here comes the pain one with Brock Lesnar on the front. If they made a game with that roster and all the features and options it had and combined that with the engine and some of the new stuff they have put in more recent versions it would be incredible.

Guys, what's your favourite wrestling moment? Can be from any company, show, PPV. Can be a promo, match, tribute video etc.

I'm having a think right now. I really loved the end of Wrestlemania XX, but obviously incidents since have plagued that.
