If that's accurate then it is extremely poor, does Bischoff not realise that the popularity TNA has was and is built around performers like these? Can't see why any company wouldn't want them as part of their roster tbh. Apparently Vince McMahon is very high on Kaz, so I really hope he jumps to WWE and ends up mega over, would just show TNA what a balls up they are making of things.
TBF to Bisch, the point is that they are striving to beat WWE not maintain their steady level of current popularity. So if their 'popularity' (I use the word loosely) is built around those performers, he obviously thinks that they aren't drawing enough.

FWIW if he did want to get rid of those guys he's an idiot, but as Scott said, might well not be true,

Have heard plenty of worrying stories regarding AJ as well, might share later

I just can't believe either Bischoff or Hogan want them out, or could get them out if they wanted to. Hogan has done nothing but talk up how great all the young talent in TNA is and how they are the future (admittedly, the booking hasn't quite backed this up), and Bischoff actually has a pretty good history with guys who can work.

Hmm. If you believe Hogan when he talks about the young talent then you're obviously less cynical than me. And Bisch does have history with guys who can work but unfortunately he has more history with letting people like Hogan serve their own egos over the company/industry's wellbeing.

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

A decision has been made by TNA and Spike TV to move TNA iMPACT! permanently to Monday nights, reports the The Wrestling Observer.

The second Monday night iMPACT! is scheduled to air on March 1 following the success of the first Monday iMPACT! on January 4.

The March 1 episode will air at 9:00 p.m. EST, but the official weekly timeslot has not been confirmed yet.

The likely taping schedule will be live on Mondays one week, then tape the following week's iMPACT! the next day on Tuesdays.
That's more like it, now just to sort out the actual quality of the shows themselves.

Can't see TNA doing much on a Monday night tbh, they only got interest last time by giving away a whole heap of stuff, including a PPV match. I'd LOVE to have two great companies to watch but it's just not going to happen.

And LOL @ Jericho & Helms btw

Haha apparently Bischoff is talking with DDP about a potential short stint current Roddy Piper WWE style, in that he turns up for liek a month and then buggers off again for a year etc. While I am not a fan of the current direction of "let's drudge up all the old farts people might recognise from nitro and pray that it spawns another monday night war" tactic they have going on, would love that, was always a huge mark for DDP. Not that I think it would help them accomplish what they are trying to in any way, I would just love to see him again.

DDP was fine before he was in the WWE imo, his WWE run was appalling to say the least. Apart from his debut, which got an amazing crowd reaction. Everything else was dross though. Always found his matches pretty poor as well tbh, limited move set if ever there was one. Clothesline....clothesline......clothesline.....powerbomb.....DDT.....clothesline...

Yeah undoubtedly his ring work is pap, I just love him as a character he cracks me up. Even just his face cracks me up. Also he sued Jay-Z over a hand gesture, that is just comedy genius

It's pretty disappointing, especially from Chris Jericho. Now granted that the offence was relatively mild but still these guys are representing WWE and should behave better in public.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Chris Jericho and he seems like a really cool guy but c'mon he's 40 years old now and he should start acting like one.

If it's one thing that really gets on my nerves its 40 year olds still going out there trying to act like they are 20 year olds. Chris Jericho may be a cool guy but he's 40 years old and is a father of three kids, so it looks kind of off to see him behave like a 20 year old would.

Yeah I agree, the offence is mild, but it's a bit of a shame that it has come to this. He actually seems a lot less mature nowadays than he did in his previous run with the company which is a bit of a shame. I know everyone should have their fun and whatever, but there is something a bit dissapointing this. The alleged affair with Kelly Kelly also makes me sad, as he put in his book how much he adored his wife etc..

I'm not sure it will work either, but I think it can still be seen as a positive move on their part, even if it fails massively, then it can still be seen as a way of taking the fight to the E. Something new at least I suppose.

Indeed.

BTW, don't want to spoil Impact for anyone who lives where it hasn't aired yet...but epic fail

Anyone getting the Rumble? I cannae wait!!
Might stream it, but not sure, I don't think anyone else in my house (or that I know of round here at all) would be particularly interested in watching it with me, and the idea of staying up at my laptop for several hours after the heating has gone off isn't the most appealing idea I've ever had. Which is a shame actually, as the Rumble is probably my favourite event of the year apart from Wrestlemania itself, probably the most fun if you actually have no interest in wrestling as well come to think of it.

Why not put the heating back on for a few hours?!
I'm a tight bastard tbh. We've also had a lot of trouble with one of the people living here who has on occasion put the heating on throughout the entire house for the whole day when there has been nobody in but him, so for me to put it on in the early hours when everyone else is in bed probably wouldn't go down all that well.
