yeah but vince hired khan (after accepting that the wwe network was a failure and firing barrios and wilson) and HHH was in the middle of his NXT burial and then health problems when WWE's upturn started. i guess the point here is that because vince's rep has finally been ruined, this has led to HHH and co getting credit for stuff that he shouldn't get credit for while he got a soft run for things he should have been pressed on (did he pick his disgusting father-in-law over his wife?)

to be clear I don't think naming certain wrestlers just because they're stars is fair or right. when I say the inner circle, i mean the board members, the executive team, the heavy hitters in the office towers, etc. HHH, as both a board member and executive, has questions to answer. Wrestler X doesn't have questions just because they're wrestling there (well beyond "are you aware vince is a deeply evil person").

obviously Vince leaving for good has now led to some people saying yay steph can come back and like...it seems unfathomable that HHH (and Steph) were not aware of a relationship which was deeply inappropriate regardless of the horrid stuff that's recently come out. if you're TKO and you've taken over a culturally disgraceful company, why would you want to keep either of HHH/Steph around? they were on the board when this happened and now TKO is dealing with a massive law suit!

i was looking for something else but some of you may like this discussion about australia's wrestling promotion, which had the original WCW name: http://wrestlingclassics.com/cgi-bin/.ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=163099;p=0

anyway one very annoying thing about this thing is seeing news stories that say vince mcmahon took wrestling mainstream. **** off!!!! in the english speaking world wrestling probably has less fans now than it did the 1970s and 1980s*. vince arguably did more than anyone to drive people away from this world (which maybe might be the most pure good thing he did, come to think of it). he stunk AND he was evil.

*One thing I wish the Iron Claw had done was really put over that wrestling was very popular in this time frame, went across NA.
