They cannot possibly position him as a heel after that return.

Heel Reigns v face Seth would be absolute money, what we will get will probably be Reigns doing his Cena impression though, it will still be decent, but really should be much more.

Anyway decent PPV really, only really 2 lowlights which was the divas borefest and the Dean match which to be fair might have been more tolerable if they didn't need to go longer which were to circumstances outside of their control.

IC match the obvious stand out though.

Tweener heel Reigns matches are 100x better. He is a more entertaining monster than Lesnar, keep him wrestling that style for as long as possible.

Yeah I'm 100% fine with 'The Guy' tweener Reigns.

Big test is if they put him against a genuine heel though. Will the crowd turn the other guy face, no matter how nefarious they are? Or will they just **** on it entirely?

Doesn't hurt that the top guys at the moment are pretty much all faces. Unless they're idiots and try to make Rollins a heel despite returnees always getting positive reactions.

Not really any genuine heels he can oppose TBH.

AJ, Ambrose, Rollins, Bray are all the most elevated blokes at the moment, with all seemingly having a face style push at the moment. KO probably isn't far away from that tier but I'm not sure how their styles would mesh really. Underdog heel KO might be a cool thing if done right, or it might set his career back by a year or two.

Oh if you meant more entertaining currently then yes, no doubt. They sucked the life out of suplex city by making him do nothing else. It was mega entertaining the first few times ( dat Rumble triple threat) but it's sucked this year for sure.

I don't have any issue with AJ losing like that, was a great match. But where to from now with AJ?

Would like to see AJ-Cena, AJ-Orton, AJ-del Rio may even be awesome if they can give them a good reason to fight. Balor debuting soon could be a gun feud as well. Hopefully they just have ANYTHING for AJ at the moment. Can't remember the last time someone impressed so much out the gate, has made Roman look a million bucks (Roman has been good though tbf)

Just haven't been able to watch much wrestling last month or so. Will still keep the NXT and last two PPVs in my DVR. Probably should start watching again now.

Things to watch recently in priority:

AJ + Anderson Gallows vs Roman + Usos have gone to war
Miz v KO v Sami v Cesaro consistently great
New Day vs Vaudevillans has been surprisingly decent
Ambrose vs. Y2J has had some highlights
Golden Truth angle finally gets good again
Rusev vs Kalisto, Rusev is a monster again Yaaaaay

Avoid:

Charlotte vs. Nattie
Cass vs. Dudleyz (though the crowd reactions for Cass are exciting, just kind of boring all round though)
Shining Stars
Becky Lynch v Emma + Dana Brooke (ruined by injury)


NXT has been kinda average, American Alpha are the best bit.

I don't totally hate a heel/tweener Seth because there are so many top babyfaces at the moment to feud with and the heels all suck. I think Bray turning face should have priority over Seth turning. Seth is still fresh as a heel.

...just don't make Roman a babyface, keep him how he has been since WM

I don't think a Rollins face turn down the line will work as well as it could've done right now. A return is the perfect time for a heel to turn. It's zero effort as and it always works if the guy is over enough.
