Raw 1000 was pretty damn good. This week wasn't as good but still a massive step up from the poor stuff they've been dishing up over the past couple months. I just think there is a big risk of burning out all the good match ups over three hour Raws, leaving nothing good and unseen for PPVs, with the exception of Lesnar/Rock/Undertaker/Triple H (who don't wrestle on Raws) but that can also only last so long.

Yeah, am in agreement with you there. No need to have a 3 hour weekly show, none at all. Will only lead to more and more dilution in the quality of the product. And even if it didn't how many people would want to sit through 3 hours for something that isn't a PPV?

Well it looks like the E don't have a clue either. They recapped of the Heyman/Steph/Lesnar/HHH stuff from Raw 100 four times, the Jericho/Ziggler confrontations twice and Punk's promo at the start of the program twice, not to mention the Tout nonsense and countless other recaps they did (wedding, Del Rio's hood-assisted assault on Sheamus, Slater segment from 1000, Kidd's win over Tensai a few weeks back etc)

You'd think they'd make proper use of the third hour, but we got loads and loads of filler instead. It's a shame, because what wasn't filler was actually good.

There was already plenty of filler when it was just 2 hours imo. I guess there's always going to be need for filler type content when running a live show mind you, but it sometimes does seem to be a little on the excessive side, and they manage fine on PPVs. When you combine all of that with the fact that there are loads and loads of commercial breaks, it becomes really annoying. Always tape RAW or watch it online or something these days, never watch it live, because the never-ending breaks make it pretty much unwatchable. I mean, sometimes you'd sit through about 5 mins of ads, then you'd get back to RAW, see a recap of something that happened earlier, then you see someone like John Cena walking to the ring and get the "**** is about to go down....NEXT" commentary line, and it's 5 more minutes of ads. No thanks.

I mean...most of the time I'd be very dubious about this. But I can't see him not winning. If they want him to have any credibility throughout what is left of his run in the company, they can't have him job out in his first two matches.

Vince McMahon was apparently pissed off at piper's pit this week. Roddy did seem strange tstl, thinking Jericho was still a heel and then trying to get a y2j chant going which failed miserably.

I didn't think he was as bad as the reports made out. A tiny bit rambling at most. Found him quite funny in a strange way.

Lesnar obviously came back to give those up-and-comers Cena, HHH and Taker the rub. They really need it.

Jokes aside though, it's funny how badly this whole thing has been written. I can't believe they think this passes as a feud.

He started out okay with Lawler and then Jericho, but looked completely lost when the rest of them started marching in. Either that, or he was high.

Also, as much as I like Ziggler, he really needs to learn how to speak into a microphone.

Yeah, his return ought to have been one of the most stellar things to have happened in recent years, but the execution has been pretty lamentable.

I really don't like the way they're presenting him as basically an MMA fighter who's now back in the WWE. I know this is what he is obviously, but I'd rather they stuck him back in his old wrestling trunks and portrayed him as one of the most badass and brutal WWE champs in living memory.

Should have made him vs Cena either a Summerslam or WM match, and had him face HHH earlier on, and gone over him. In any case, he needs to win something important sooner or later or the whole thing will go to the wall.

No one's putting Brock over after his push last time only for him to bail. He's not even a permanent fixture. This is all about buyrates and putting people over again. Not that these guys need it but anyway.
