Would say he's perfectly serviceable in all of those regards to be honest. Has definite star quality too.

Caught up with the past week of wrestling.

Extreme Rules was mega. Three bona fide MOTY contenders but cena-Brock was on another planet.

Interested to see where things go with Brock. Really good Raw.

Really enjoyed Extreme Rules, all three matches delivered big time, but I didnt understand the logic of Cena winning against Lesnar in his first match back after 8 years.

It was just a simple storyline, that would have made them so much money. The storyline of you've got a legit former WWE champion turned legit former UFC world champion and is 35 years old. You have him beat people and be unstoppable. The storyline turns into "WHO CAN STOP THIS BEASTLY MAN!" You do this all the way up to Taker or Rock or Steve Austin or even Cena at WM. The big pay off.

But they had him beat in his first match back and he's just a stoppable beast now. So stupid.

Such a botch job of epicness

And Post match Cena says that he is taking a long break and then comes back next day and he is scheduled to wrestle at OTL against John Lauranaitis???
Lesnar went over the entire roster and just bailed the last time he was in WWE. He owes people big and is being made to put people over if he wants anything to do with returning. That's how I see that loss.

If thats what WWE wants then they should use lesnar to put upcoming stars over. I dont see why Cena or Triple H (if he wins against lesnar, whenever it happens) needs to be put over at this stage of their career, Cena is already the number 1 star right now in WWE and Triple H is already a big legend. Talents like CM Punk and Sheamus need a big feud to make them megastars from superstars. WWE had the chance with CM Punk last summer but they blew it. So if WWE want lesnar to put stars over then they should feud him with Punk or Sheamus. WWE is paying 5 million $ to lesnar for some 35 appearances in a year, so they should milk lesnar as much as they can. And If they wanted Cena to have a win against Lesnar they could have easily done Rocky 3 kinda storyline where Lesnar gets victory against Cena at Exterme Rules and then after two big losses back to back Cena takes some time off whereas Lesnar continue to act like he is bigger than WWE and then around Summerslam Cena comes back challenges Lesnar again for a match. Cena this time preparing with WWE legends and Lesnar preparing like his MMA training. Cena goes over Lesnar this time around.

I do think WWE dropped ball with the result of Extreme Rules main event and if Triple H also went over Lesnar than they just diminished Lesnar's drawing power completely and wasted 5 million $ completely. Lesnar needs to win against Triple H

No as Lesnar has kayfabe quit, but strongly expected for Summerslam

Brock winning wouldn't have fit with the path they've gone down, plus if you think wins and losses are that important then I have to challenge the wisdom of having cena made to look like a jobber to the stars. The match was booked perfectly IMO, showcased Brock as a monster and an MMA machine, continued the transition in cena's character that we've seen these past few months, and gave Cena a big win against all odds. Honestly I couldn't have asked for more from it.

I disagree. I thought match was great but ending sucked. The point of bringing in a guy like Lesnar and hyping him up as "legitimate" and all the rest of that crap is that he is supposed to beat everyone and look dominant so you build up a huge match and angle based on who can stop this guy. They've cut the legs off him before he even started because Cena just stopped him CLEAN in his first match. It doesn't matter that he used a chain, all that matters is Brock has been beaten one on one and now he's just another guy who isn't quite as good as John Cena.

If they wanted Cena to pick up the win against Lesnar, they should have kept them separate for some time, while they feed guys like Big Show or Kane to lesnar to built him up and have both cena and lesnar faceoff at summerslam but lesnar losing his first match back doesnt make sense to me.

Anyways it will be interesting to see what direction they choose with Triple H storyline, good to see they have called Heyman back because Lesnar have limited appearances so they will have to use heyman to further the storyline.

Bryan Danielson vs Punk was an insane match at Over the Limit. Too bad about the Cena match, he's being wasted right now.

Just caught up with that ppv this morning, dross save for that Punk-Bryan match which was absolute top drawer. The E have produced somE great matches this year.

Thought the 4-way and the tag match were pretty decent too, actually. But yeah most of OTL was pretty bad.

Punk-Bryan was great, but I think they still have a gear left in them. I hope this feud gets a blow-off match, and that this triple threat is just a way to extend it, instead of segueing into Punk-Kane/Bryan-Kane or other such nonsense.

Reckon Kane could take the belt. Seems the only feasible way to get it off Punk. I just don't see how anyone can defeat Punk in singles action for the title and it not be completely out of the blue/under- booked.

Punk's title reign a bit reminiscent of Cena's reign in 07 where he held it all year. Having quality matches but always expected to retain.

It'll get hustled off him in a triple threat match. By a totally random guy

Bryan to beat Kane in this triple threat and dethrone Punk, IMO. Punk can then play the "I beat you but you never beat me" card to force an Iron Man match at Summerslam. Fantasy booking I know, but I would love to see this.

Not the most unlikely thing that could happen tbh. There's not been an Iron Man match for a long time either, iirc.

Then again, we're just as likely to find out that AJ was in cahoots with Kane all along and be subjected to months of wedding ceremonies and pregnancy angles.

Not seen much wrestling for a while, but a quick look at the news reveals to me that apparently Jericho has been suspended indefinitely for desecrating the Brazilian flag during a live show...itstl.

I see Orton is spending some time out as well after another wellness violation. Rumours going round that the E may fire him, but I kind of doubt that'll happen.
