No my problem with you regarding Sodhi is you refuse to give him any credit. As I said, unless he bowls the perfect leg break that hit's the top of off stump the wicket in your mind was down to 'batsman error'. You don't hold Craig to that same standard though, nor would you refuse to accept Ramdin, Blackwood or Edwards as proper bats if Craig picked them up as wickets.

So on one hand, you're on my case because I've said that Sodhi continues to bowl terribly and doesn't have the ability to lead his team to a victory.... on the other, you're on my case for mentioning that Craig has much better statistics at all formats, including a match winning performance against the Windies. In both instances, you basically have no leg to stand on, but I'm the unreasonable one.

The only change I think we should look at making is if we drop Craig/Sodhi for Wagner which is entirely pitch dependant.

I suppose we could consider dropping Neesham for Ronchi but I'd only toy with that idea in the 3rd if he really struggles again.

How is Ish even in contention of being dropped, he's been our only bowler who's looked even semi-threatening.

I suspect he isn't, but if it's a pitch offering enough to bring in the 3rd seamer then it may be worth keeping Craig on to keep it tight instead.

I only just realised that Mohammad Amir is just 22. That's absolutely insane that 1) He was good as he was at age 18 and 2) He'll pretty much be able to have a full career despite committing the worst cricketing sin.

Just don't know how to feel about this. Loved watching him bowl but the **** will be able to have a full international career despite doing what he did. I'd imagine some of the relatively honest young quicks in Pakistan would be pissed if Amir was picked again.

Brilliant bowler, but I suspect he may be another 1 or 2 years older.

I'm not 100% sure how I'll feel when Amir does play cricket again. But he certainly did seem like the extremely ignorant young man getting taken along for the ride that his lawyers tried so hard to paint him to be.

Asif though. I don't think I ever want to see that guy play again.

Yeah, if he's able to overcome the crap he'll be getting from the media and opposition fans I can see him quickly rising through the ranks and becoming the worlds best bowler.

We can all agree, I hope, that Asif can GAGF. Amir is different imo. Its seems easy to influence young and stupid if the culture they are caught in is corrupt. For mine he's paid his penalty. I don't know if that penalty was long enough and if he doesn't learn then I'd concede he'd have to go and the penalty for 1st time offenders increased.

Lovely bowler though.
