***Official*** Pakistan in South Africa

Raghav

International Vice-Captain
Rain stops play which, I suspect, is the only thing that can prevent a SA win today.
Very early to predict the win for SAF. It is very even match and moderate score. The wicket is slowing up and the bowlers like Afridi are very useful for PAK. Even match.

Good captaincy and some tight bowling will do it for PAK.

ohhhhh
six in no ball. that would get pak to 250 i guess.

what happend? why rana is still playing after his poor form? why did the top order failed?

The rain gods have started pouring in again and the last ball of the 50th over is yet to be bowled.

Pakistan: 245/8 (49.5 Ovs)

So what is going to happen now...are Pakistan going to come back out for one ball or is it just going to be South Africa batting with a revised target?

Surely SAF will come to bat (if the rain stops) as they cant come out just to play a ball.

The two umpires are out along with Inzaman and Woolmer who are having a discussion on the field. The pitch and the field looks wet. The two teams might find it difficult to play here.

In another half and hour or so the pitch will be looked at again and then the umpires will come to a conclusion

Clearly.

In fact, if the toss has been done, and then the rain comes, whoever is named in the team actually gets an official ODI cap to their name.
I guess that is why Shoaib Akhtar's wickets/match column reflects some lower digits than his actual standards !!!!!
