I dunno, I’ve found he sort of drones on haphazardly and you’re never quite sure where he’s coming from...but as I say, I think I’ve just been slow to pick up on the fact that he’s rather droll and cheeky

Critiquing cricinfo commentary is redundant, but whoever is doing this game has been laughably biased towards Pakistan. He pretty much made out that Faheem was bowling like Hadlee and all NZ runs have been edges.

I wonder if Taylor and Nicholls would ever swap in the order? Feel like Nicholls is better suited to grafting through the tougher spells these days and then Taylor could come in with a bit less pressure and add some icing (not that he’d want to come in and face spin straight away, though, I guess that’s the drawback).

I think when Taylor retires, Nicholls will go up to 4. Conway at 5 perhaps? Although probably better to have Conway in top 4. Hmmmm.

Actually feel ever since the McCullum captaincy era they’ve been generally very complimentary about NZ, especially the bowlers. And ever since they made the discovery that Watling and Wagner are rather good they can’t stop gushing about those two.
