Yeah I was taking the piss; I didn't even think him opening in limited overs cricket would work (although I'm coming around now), so my scepticism of this role change has always pretty high. I wouldn't be that surprised if it happened though -- it'd only take a couple of ODI hundreds opening and then a bad series from Raval for someone to seriously consider the idea IMO.

Agree that he should be in for Nicholls.

Like what I've seen from this pitch so far. Good bounce when they're hitting the seam, and it's noticeable how much more often the Pakistan bowlers are doing that compared to the Windies.

Even if that happened , raval would survive, surely latham would go. He is the real myth at test level. He looks horrible vs pace bowling outside the sub continent. Raval is clearly a better batsman than tom mytham.
