I haven't seen the highlights to this, did Pakistan batsmen get out to good balls or a larger number of bad shots?

As for when they themselves were bowling, saw 3 dropped catches and a lot of lackadaisical fielding. This is not the Pakistan of the last several years. Is it the Inzy influence? lol

In short: horrible fielding by Pakistan in particular to Amir.

Southee bowled amazingly, probably the best he's bowled in a couple of seasons - was getting late out swing but also bringing it back on occasion off the seam.
Wagner extracted two reasonably poor shots to get his two wickets, although typical Waggy, rushed the batsmen for pace and got the ball to skid through.

Meh, people with two year grudges who seek any chance to have a nibble and see what they create.

I've now used the ignore function on the usual culprits, they actually once used to contribute to discussions around cricket, now they don't so there really is no reason to talk to them. I've let my good bud WW know to do the same as they often baited him too.

NZ fans are happy enough, these two don't like Wagner so aren't too happy he continues to be our best all formats bowler.

It will be really funny if Bangladesh somehow manages to give New Zealand a much tougher contest in the coming test series than Pakistan. Pakistan are clueless in these conditions.

Bangladesh are only really improving when sides can't fathom their spin and don't have the strike power to bowl them out. NZ won't struggle against them in the way that England did, home or away.

Pakistan are just caught on the hop, with not enough recent cricket in these conditions - it's the reverse situation of NZ/Aus/Eng/South Africa going to the sub continent not having played enough spin.

even though it will be later in the season they're still going to need taskin ahmed fit and bowling well. unless they have amazing series shakib and mirage mehdi aren't going to replicate what they can do at home.
