Man this injury bug thing is ridiculous! The middle order for Pak is absolutely vital and any change there can be so dangerous to Pak's chances.
The rules are the rules.

On the plus side, Pakistan have had over 4 hours with a fielder who runs around etc. on.

Umm, I wasn't disputing the rules. I was merely stating that the fact that Inzi will not be at his customary #4 position is bad for Pak's chances, that's all. :)

I think Inzi bats well under pressure and with the tail so I will be happy to see him there.

no matter what the lead, England can't afford to lose here, because if Pakistan win & they go into the final test with momentum & the possible return of Asif & Shoaib wont be good.

On a another note, well played Chris..

When did he last bat 4? ;)

I like this target. Its not 'out of reach' so Pakistan can aim for it in the third session if they have the wickets, but it also gives bowlers a lot to work with. Its a huge run chase, so England are obviously on top, but it will be an interesting day tomorrow.

Should be a good day's play tomorrow. All 3 results still possible. 323 from 90 overs is gettable if Pakistan bat well.

The pitch hasn't misbehaved overly. A few have kept low & one or two have climbed from just short of a good length, but it'll be no way a traditional 5th day Headingley.

I wouldn't like to say which result is favourite to be honest.

I, however, have no such reservations:

England win: 50%
Draw: 25%
Pakistan win: 25%

Collingwood very unlucky there.
Not really, did not move his feet and just stuck his bat out to a ball which you can not harbour any realistic thoughts about cutting.

Pfft. Bookies, they don't make odds on the chances of a team winning. The odds are based on making sure that 50% of people bet one way, while the other 50% of people bet the other way. That way they can make money regardless of the result. So perception plays a bigger role than actual chance of winning.
My mistake then, I thought that's exactly what they did do! :D

& when did you last see a bookmaker on a bike, eh?
