6.2 Mohammad Asif to Watson, no run, it might just be me, but there is a suspicion that the BBC might have sent one or two people to commentate who do not boast cricket as their first sport on the CV. I have never heard a ball described as a “bouncy bouncer”

The BBC clearly know something about the Scottish middle order that we have missed. McStumpy has just given us a description of a ferret as “a batsman so bad he follows the rabbits”. Come off it lads, they’re only three wickets down.
Nice stuff cricinfo. The man on the tannoy has been unleashed again and after ten overs of silence is suddenly doing the hard sell on soft drinks and other merchandise. He might have realised that the window of opportunity for sales is reducing with each Scottish wicket
14.5 Abdul Razzaq to Watson, FOUR, See previous comment. Inzamam puffed, scratched his chin and looked cross, not only because of the bowling but also the less-than-able fielding on the boundary.
14.4 Abdul Razzaq to Watson, no run
14.3 Abdul Razzaq to Watson, FOUR, Razzaq all at sea … yet another one outside off stump and launched through the covers. Inzamam might even be forced to say something rather harsh
14.2 Abdul Razzaq to Watson, FOUR, an ever looser loosener, again outside off stump and again splattered through the covers. Inzamam growls
14.1 Abdul Razzaq to Watson, FOUR, the loosest of looseners, outside off stump and blasted through the covers. Inzamam scowls
because of course ive defended Razzaqs bowling after 2001 so often havent i?Jono said:Did there ever need to be more proof that Razzaq's bowling has gone down the crapper in the past 3-4 years? What a horrid performance.
I'd like to see TEC defend Razzaq's bowling now.
because Afridis bowling is fantastic? Whether or not his bowling is better than Afridis is debateable, but it does not change the fact that i never defended Razzaqs bowling as being anything brilliant. Razzaqs bowling is poor period, but when combined with his batting it makes him a decent ODI player who can contribute with the ball.Jono said:You've claimed on various occasions that his ODI bowling is better than Afridi's, and I'm talking current.
I know you've never claimed he's a good test bowler, but his ODI bowling has become incredibly poor. Afridi wipes the floor with him.
