Yeah, I thought that too. But I guess the general assumption when the ball hits the pad so soon after bouncing is to assume that it won't go over, even when we didn't have DRS. Fair decision for me.

Yeah this is where umpire's call is a godsend -- there's just no chance for ball-tracking to get enough information, including the inherent uncertainty with the point of impact, for any sort of conclusive determination to be made, especially with regards to height. In those situations IMO it should just return "not enough info, umpire's call". It's not a coincidence that it took so long for the projection to come up.
