I think, if you were to put a "cone of error" around where that projection hit, it would be absolutely huge. I wouldn't put any stock in that projection at all, there's simply no information for ball tracking to work with.

Haha you don't have to trust ball tracking but I have no idea how you can see this with any confidence.

Yeah, I thought that too. But I guess the general assumption when the ball hits the pad so soon after bouncing is to assume that it won't go over, even when we didn't have DRS. Fair decision for me.
